Introduction
The Pre-School and Infant Department is co-educational, taking boys and girls from the ages of three to seven and is led by head teacher, Mrs Angie Tolcher.
This department is located in Victor House, at the lower part of the site. It has independent access by driving past the Little Chapel and the Clockmakers. The building was converted in 2003 and fully refurbished to house our youngest pupils. In addition to the beautiful building there is also a large covered veranda, decking area, and large outdoor playing field and activity area for the children. All of our classrooms are fitted with interactive whiteboards, which not only enhances your child's learning experience, but also helps them become more familiar with electronic technology.
The recent introduction of daily hot lunches means that your child will learn valuable social skills whilst enjoying a nutritious well balanced meal.
Extra-Curricular activities are actively encouraged in the Infant Department. At the beginning of every new term they have the choice of various clubs ranging from art, puzzles and games to cookery. Also available are dance classes with professional teachers from the Blondel Earl Dance and Theatre Arts Centre. Children have the opportunity to learn a variety of dance styles.
Our Early Bird hours and After school clubs can help extend the day for busy working parents.
The Pre-School and Infant Department follow the Golden Rules in order to encourage the children to be considerate and caring to others as they work together on the important foundations of their early learning.

Keeping to these rules results in GOLDEN TIME for the children, where they can enjoy a variety of activities of their choice that are extra special during their normal school day.
We ask parents and children to read the Golden Rules and talk about them.

Early Bird: 08.30 - 09.00
Morning: 09.00 - 12.30 or 14.30
Full Day: 08.30 or 09.00 start and either 12.30 or 14.30 finish
An extended full day is now available 09.00 - 14.30
Infant School
Early Bird: 08.15 - 09.00
Lunch 12.30 - 13.45
Normal Hours 09.00 - 15.15
